Blue Caffeine Full Cover Eye Patch
A 360-degree hydrogel patch for lids, under-eyes and smile lines. What's in it, the cooling ritual and how to sell it at the register.
The Blue Caffeine Full Cover Eye Patch is a 360-degree hydrogel patch. It is designed to cover more than the under-eye: eyelids, under-eyes, crow's feet and smile lines in one cooling step. Each 80 g jar holds 60 patches and sells at $22.00 MSRP.
What's in the formula
- Coffee-derived caffeine at 5,115 ppm.
- Niacinamide at 2%.
- Copper Tripeptide-1 at 10 ppm.
- A 4GF complex at 0.04 ppm.
- Adenosine, azulene and panthenol.
The patch is made for puffy-looking, tired-looking skin around the eyes, and it has no added fragrance. One note for staff: the brand describes the patch as a full formula in a hydrogel format. Talk about the whole patch, and avoid crediting caffeine alone.
The cooling ritual
- For extra cooling, keep the jar in the refrigerator at about 4°C (39°F).
- Finish the skincare routine through moisturizer.
- Lift a patch with clean, dry fingers and close the jar right away.
- Place it to cover the areas the client cares about: eyelid, under-eye, outer corner or smile line.
- Leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Remove the patch and gently pat any remaining essence into the skin.
Who it suits
- Early risers and late nights, when eyes look tired.
- Travelers after a long flight.
- Clients getting ready for an event, a photo or a video call.
- Anyone who enjoys a ritual step and already uses the Blue Line.
Selling it
- Chill the demo. If you have a counter fridge, keep one open tester jar cold. Let the client hold a patch against the back of the hand for ten seconds. The cool feel sells it.
- Keep it hygienic. The tester stays staff-only. Use clean tweezers to hand out a patch.
- Place it at the register. A single ritual product at an easy price point is a natural add-on at checkout.
- Use the calendar. Holiday party season, travel weeks and wedding season are all good hooks for a small display.
- Keep the language cosmetic. Use "cooling", "refreshed-looking" and "the look of puffiness", and leave result numbers off signs and scripts.
Pairing it
In an evening routine, the patch comes last: cleanse, EGF Blue Youth Activating Drop, toner, moisturizer, then the patch. Both carry the Blue name, which makes a simple two-product display. Suggest the patch as the add-on for clients already buying the Drop.
Shelf setup
Face two jars at eye level beside other Blue Line items, with a small card that reads "After moisturizer, 20 to 30 minutes." Keep back stock close, since a register item can sell through faster than the shelf behind it. Check the count every Monday.
At the counter: "After moisturizer, put these on for twenty to thirty minutes. They cover the lids and smile lines too, and they feel even cooler straight from the fridge."
Party season is close. See case packs in the catalog, and catch the Wednesday desk update for timing.
