Fundamental Ampule Mist

A green tea water mist with ampoule-style care. Three ways clients use it, who it suits and how to demo it at the counter.

Oct 16, 2026 · 2 min de lectura

Fundamental Ampule Mist is a 125 mL fine facial mist from the Dear, Klairs Fundamental line. It is built on green tea water and designed for clients who want more than a basic water mist. It sells at $27.00 MSRP, and its ingredient list has no fragrance or essential oils, so you can tag it "no added fragrance".

What is in it

Green tea water (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water) is the first ingredient. The formula also features trehalose, botanical extracts, Ceramide NP, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate. The brand describes the result as lightweight hydration, antioxidant comfort and a fresh, dewy finish without a sticky feel.

That last point is the one clients notice. If a client has given up on mists because they felt tacky, let them feel this finish on the back of the hand before you say anything else.

Three ways to use it

  1. As a toner mist. Right after cleansing, mist the face and press it in. For clients who dislike cotton pads, this is the easiest toner step to sell.
  2. As a layer over skincare. After serum or moisturizer, a light mist adds a fresh, dewy finish. Suggest this for clients who want their skin to look less flat by evening.
  3. Through the day. Keep it on the desk or in a gym bag for moments when skin feels dry or tired. This is the use that drives repeat purchases, because the bottle gets used every day.

Who it suits

  • Office workers in dry, air-conditioned rooms.
  • Frequent flyers who want a hydration step they can repeat.
  • Clients who find toners on cotton pads too fiddly.
  • Sensitive-feeling skin that wants a simple, comfortable step with no fragrance or essential oils listed.

A 30-second demo

Demos sell mists. Try this at the counter:

  1. Mist the back of the client's hand once.
  2. Ask them to press it in, then touch the spot after a few seconds.
  3. Point out that it does not feel sticky, then name the three uses above.

Keep a tester near the register. A mist is a natural add-on because it fits any routine the client already has, whether they are buying a serum, a cream or nothing else that day.

Where it fits with the rest of your shelf

Face it with the other Fundamental products, such as Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel and Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter, so the line reads as one family. If you run a Blue Line zone, a second facing near the register works well as an add-on for clients buying a cream.

For estheticians, the mist is an easy retail follow-up after a facial, because clients can repeat a simple hydration step at home and on the go.

At the counter: "This is a green tea water mist with ceramide and panthenol. Use it as your toner, over your skincare or whenever your skin feels dry during the day."
